"The Gathering Bowl": A Community Creation by the Maple Primary Community

Created by the 28 children and teachers of the Maple Primary community, “The Gathering Bowl” is a one-of-a-kind piece that celebrates both collaboration and individuality. Each child thoughtfully selected a stone, carefully washed it, and painted it with colors and patterns inspired by their own memories, ideas, and imagination. These individually meaningful pieces were then brought together and arranged to form a beautiful, unified bowl that would beautifully complement any decor.

The finished work is more than a decorative object; it is a reflection of our Primary community itself. Each stone represents a unique voice, and together they create something stronger and more vibrant than any one piece alone. The bowl symbolizes belonging, unity, and the way our shared experiences result in the vibrancy of our Maple Primary classroom.

"Wings of Growth": A Monarch Jigsaw Puzzle by the Magnolia Primary Community

In the Magnolia Primary Community, we are inspired each day by the beauty and transformation of the natural world around us. Just as the seasons shift outside our windows, our children are growing, gaining confidence, and discovering their unique voices.

Each child contributed to this special project by painting an individual wooden puzzle piece, using a variety of acrylic techniques to express their creativity. Together, these pieces form a vibrant monarch butterfly - a symbol of growth, transformation, and the beauty of becoming. While each piece reflects a child’s individuality, they come together to create something unified and full of life, much like our classroom community.

This custom wooden puzzle is crafted to be a lasting keepsake for years to come. Each piece is labeled on the back with the child’s name, with our school, classroom, and the year 2025-2026 engraved as a reminder of this special moment in time.
